Democrats hit Republicans for 'complicated' relationship with Trump in Valentine's ads

American Bridge, a Democratic super PAC, launched a Valentine’s Day campaign Tuesday, hitting certain Republicans for their “complicated” relationship status with President Trump.

The Facebook ad buy targets 10 Republicans across the country running in Senate, House, and gubernatorial races.

The “Who Loves Trump” campaign will run all week highlighting Republican candidates “full-blown love affairs to bromances and more, uh...complicated romances,” the group said.

Those targeted include vulnerable Republican Sen. Dean Heller in Nevada and Republican Rep. Martha McSally, who is running to replace Sen. Jeff Flake in Arizona.

"Whether they're smitten with President Trump, or their relationship is on-again-off-again, one thing is certain: Republicans across the country will pay for supporting this President's dangerous, racist, and job-killing policies at the polls in 2018," said American Bridge spokesman Joshua Karp.
