Huge blast at Paris bakery leaves at least 20 injured

The explosion smashed windows in surrounding buildings, police and AFP journalists at the scene said.

A fire broke out after the blast at around 9am, which occurred at a bakery (boulangerie) on Rue de Trévise in the busy 9th arrondissement of the city.

"I was a few metres from Rue de Trévise when I heard a huge explosion.
