Former Rep. Harold Ford Jr., D-Tenn., who is also a pundit on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program, was fired by Morgan Stanley following a human resources probe into claims he sexually harassed and assaulted at least one woman he knew through his work at the colleague.
“He has been terminated for conduct inconsistent with our values and in violation of our policies,” a spokeswoman for Morgan Stanley told HuffPost in a Thursday report.
After departing Congress in 2007, Ford eventually became an on-air political analyst for MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show with Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.
It wasn't clear whether his firing from Morgan Stanley would affect his presence on that show, and a request for comment from MSNBC was not returned.
Ford's accuser alleged he harassed and intimidated her, and in one case years ago, forcibly grabbed her.
