Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel echoed the sentiment President Donald Trump expressed a night earlier at a rally in El Paso, TX criticizing the so-called Green New Deal.
McDaniel noted that a number of drafts had to be re-released to the public, which suggested Green New Deal champion Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) wasn’t fully aware of her proposal.
“I think the president was being generous saying that it was a high school paper that would get bad marks,” McDaniel said.
“My daughter is a sophomore in high school, she would have received a failing grade if she’d have put forward what Ocasio-Cortez did.
“They didn’t proofread this huge deal, this monstrosity that they’re putting forward, a total government takeover.
