Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore urged voters in the Cotton State to show Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell they stand with the GOP nominee, not the Kentucky lawmaker.
DitchMitch," Moore tweeted Tuesday afternoon.
On Monday, McConnell said he believes the women who have leveled accusations of sexual harassment and sexual assault against the state Supreme Court justice, and called for Moore to step aside.
"The person who should step aside is @SenateMajLdr Mitch McConnell," Moore tweeted afterward.
McConnell backed Moore's opponent, then-acting Sen. Luther Strange, in the GOP primary this fall.
