Sheldon Adelson ditches Steve Bannon after Roy Moore scandal

Republican mega-donor Sheldon Adelson said Tuesday he has no plans to support Steve Bannon in his bid to unseat several GOP incumbents in 2018, days after Roy Moore, Bannon's choice for Alabama's open Senate seat, was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.

"The Adelsons will not be supporting Steve Bannon's efforts," Andy Abboud, a spokesperson for the casino magnate, told Politico in a statement.

"They are supporting Mitch McConnell 100 percent.
