Republican mega-donor Sheldon Adelson said Tuesday he has no plans to support Steve Bannon in his bid to unseat several GOP incumbents in 2018, days after Roy Moore, Bannon's choice for Alabama's open Senate seat, was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.
"The Adelsons will not be supporting Steve Bannon's efforts," Andy Abboud, a spokesperson for the casino magnate, told Politico in a statement.
"They are supporting Mitch McConnell 100 percent.

Adelson's decision to publicly distance himself from the former White House chief strategist came hours after a fifth woman accused Moore of sexually assaulting her when she was in her early teens and he was in his 30s.
